Description
This is a software developer position. The successful software developer will be a member of a team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science (or related sciences) with 4+ years of applicable experience. MS in Computer Science (or related area) with 2+ years of applicable experience. An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered.
- 2+ years of practical work experience in software development, architecture, and system design.
- Experience in full life-cycle development from conceptual design to deployment.
- Experience in system integration.
- Experience using source code control and configuration management.
- Expertise in .NET, C++, C#, Java, database/SQL, SQL tuning, .ASPX, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, design patterns, WCF and MEF.
- Experience diagnosing and solving complex problems, providing detailed technical analysis, and recommending innovative solutions.
- Experience in data modeling, visualization and implementation.
- Experience developing web services and related technologies (e.g., XML, WSDL, SOAP, REST, XSLT).
- Learning quickly and seeking to gain new knowledge and skills.
- Interacting effectively with technical and non-technical audiences via both written and verbal communications.
- Meeting inflexible deadlines.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with teams.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments.
